The work offers a contemporary reinterpretation through a classical composition and a dark palette, while a vertical brushstroke in a golden tone introduces a current and distinctive accent, establishing a dialogue between the historical image and the modern intervention.
A self-taught artist, Castillejo began her artistic practice in adulthood following a personal turning point that connected her to art as a tool for introspection and transformation. Her trajectory includes participation in contemporary art fairs such as the Extremadura International Art Fair "Arte Aparte" in 2022, 2023 and 2025. Currently, Alejandra Castillejo continues to expand her artistic collection and consolidate the projection of her work within the contemporary art scene.
