Representative work of Ramon Vilanova's interest in the urban scene and music as a pictorial motif. In Jazz band, the artist builds the composition from an expressive and dynamic brushstroke, where figure and space merge in a vibrant atmosphere.

Ramon Vilanova regularly performs in Catalonia, Madrid and Valladolid, as well as abroad, in various cities in France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Belgium, Sweden and Andorra. He has also shown his work in various museums, including the Thermalia/Manolo Hugué, the Palau Meca in Barcelona, the Girona History Museum, the Casa Museo Prat de la Riba, the Museums of Chartres and Antibes in France, the Francesc Galí Foundation, the Taunestain Museum in Germany and the Museum of Chicago, among others. In 2008, the Sala Rusiñol in Sant Cugat del Vallès dedicated an anthology to him.
