The work evokes an atmosphere of emotional and existential transition, in which the blurred and intertwined human figures seem to be trapped in a space without a defined notion of time. This "Limbo" is not only a pause between two worlds, but a representation of the inner struggle that takes place when one is suspended between decisions, identities or states of being.

Karel Rodríguez Fernández is an artist trained at the Academia de Bellas Artes Vicentina de la Torre (Camagüey). His exhibition career began in Cuba, where he participated in various editions of the Salón de la Ciudad and the Salón Fidelio Ponce de León, and has been projected internationally in Spain, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, Germany and France. In recent years he has presented his work in spaces such as the Merlino Gallery (Florence), the Yilaob Cultural Center (Mexico), the Gallery of the Archbishopric of Toledo and fairs linked to the Art Basel Week in Paris, consolidating an active presence in the European and Latin American contemporary circuit.
