Martín and Sicilia are two artists from Tenerife based between Madrid, Berlin and Tenerife, both graduated in Fine Arts from the University of La Laguna in 1998. They debuted together with their first solo exhibition in 1995, in Tenerife, and since then they have held exhibitions throughout Spain and also in Paris, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Lyon, Mexico City and Johannesburg, as well as participating in group shows held in galleries and museums in Europe, Africa and America. They have received honorable mentions in the ABC Photography Award, the Ron Brugal Award for Emerging Artists Arco 07, the Villa Norte Award of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Premo Adeje Award, and are represented in the CAAM and the TEA of the Canary Islands, the Testimonio collections of La Caixa, the Government of the Canary Islands, APM, Ron Brugal and the City Councils of Palma de Mallorca and Murcia, the Tenerife Island Photography Center and the Espacio C of Camargo (Cantabria).
