Ramón Martínez Buades is known by some works in which he faces pictorially to reveal the structures and chromatisms of the modern city, exploring the urban space attentive to the abstract geometries, the simple designs and the characteristic elements of the streets (it surprises, in fact, the abundance of wastebaskets, grafitti, bridges...). Although he recognizes that art has to express emotions, he defends that it cannot remain only in this, so he mixes in his work the emotional effect with the cognitive one. In this sense, it is necessary to mention the MAR project, created in 2002, when Ramón Martínez (guitars and canvases) joins Antonio Rubio Gutiérrez ("voice and tragedy") to give rise to the manifestation of his concerns by setting music to canvases and poems with his guitars, with Ángel Martínez (bass).
His work has been shown in numerous exhibitions (Torrent in Valencia, Valencia city, Burriana in the same autonomous community, Murcia, etc.), and is preserved in several Spanish private collections, especially.
