Urban view of the well-known Balcony of the Mediterranean of Tarragona, one of the most emblematic viewpoints of the city, where the promenade opens towards the sea. The composition reflects the daily animation of the place through the presence of figures walking along the railing, while the architecture of the historic building and the central monument structure the scene.

Joan Carles Pérez Sullà began his artistic practice at the School of Fine Arts "El Roser" and at the Cercle de Belles Arts de Lleida, where he developed a solid foundation in drawing and painting. He has presented his work in various exhibitions in Catalonia, among which highlights an exhibition at the Aula de Cultura de Caixa Penedès, where he exhibited a series of paintings of expressionist aesthetics focused on urban landscapes.
