This work by Xano Armenter shows us a scene of strong expressive charge built from schematic and fragmented figures. The pictorial gesture and the vibrant use of color generate a dynamic and almost narrative composition; the superposition of planes and textures reinforces its spontaneous and contemporary character.

Xano Armenter was trained at the Eina School in Barcelona and furthered his studies in New York, where he lived during the eighties. He has developed an international career with exhibitions in cities such as New York, Barcelona, Chicago, Tokyo or Los Angeles, also participating in fairs such as ARCO and Art Expo, consolidating his presence in the contemporary art circuit.
