The work of Susa Torres is located in a hybrid territory between figurative realism and contemporary reinterpretation of the avant-garde. Her compositions present fragmented figures that refer both to expressionism and to certain approaches of cubism, generating scenes where the everyday acquires an introspective dimension. The use of flat and contrasting colors, together with a marked line, reinforces a visual narrative in which the human appears as the central axis, in constant tension between the intimate and the urban.

Self-taught, he initially developed his career in the field of advertising (1995-2005). In 2006 he delves into painting with the master Josep Mallofré, linked to the Real Círculo de Bellas Artes de Barcelona, consolidating his technical base. Later he expands his language at the school of contemporary art TPK (L'Hospitalet), where he comes into contact with avant-garde currents and new methodologies.

Since 2012 he works in his studio in Barcelona, participating in group exhibitions nationally and internationally. She is a member of the Association of Artists of L'Hospitalet, where she combines her artistic production with teaching and cultural promotion, collaborating in projects and artistic meetings.
