Shocking composition of the contemporary artist DEANGEL, in which the female body becomes the central axis of an intense sensory and emotional exploration. The figure, arranged in a dynamic and fragmented posture, seems to float or dissolve in an environment dominated by a powerful chromatic mass in red tones.

The use of color is absolutely protagonist here: red, applied in broad, fluid and enveloping brushstrokes, generates an almost organic atmosphere, suggesting both vital energy and tension, passion or even contained violence.

Deangel was born in Barcelona in 1966, where he was self-taught in the world of painting, over the years he made professional incursions in film projects, photography, illustration and graphic design, to end up devoting himself exclusively to painting. His work is included within the new trend of "psychorealism", strolling in unison through styles such as naturalism, realism and hyperrealism, with which he reflects themes that lead to introspection and reflect on the deep human loneliness, but with a staging sometimes strongly vitalistic.

He has exhibited at major art conventions and galleries around the world. He has been awarded several drawing-painting prizes among which stand out:- First Prize, Reddis Private Foundation, Tarragona. Honorable Mention, "Figurative VII", MEAM BCN Museum - Honorable Mention, 13th International ARC Salon, New York - 1st Prize "Social Criticism", 14th International ARC Salon, New York - Winner of the opera prize "Lohengrin" by Richard Wagner, organized by the Wagner Club and the MEAM in collaboration with the Gran Teatre del Liceu - Finalist Prize "Figurative XII", MEAM BCN Museum - Finalist of the "Figurative XII" Prize, MEAM BCN Museum.

His work is part of private collections (Ibex Collection of Germany..), corporate (Lotus-IBM Collection..) and cultural institutions (MEAM- European Museum of Modern Art, Wagner Club- Barcelona..).
