Íñigo Navarro is a multidisciplinary creator whose practice moves naturally between painting, photography and video art. Trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Complutense University of Madrid, he completed his development with stays with scholarships from the Rodriguez Acosta Foundation and the courses of El Escorial, where he consolidated a look open to experimentation and the crossing of languages.
His career has been built through a constant presence in group exhibitions both in Spain and internationally, highlighting his participation in spaces such as The Art League at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria (USA), the Salón Internacional de Arte Al Paso in Bogota or the Casa do Brasil in Madrid, as well as galleries and centers such as Arnau in Barcelona or the Palacio de Saldaña. This projection evidences a work permeable to diverse contexts, where the visual dialogues with the conceptual.
Recognized in painting, drawing and graphic work competitions, his work received a significant boost when he was awarded the Purificación García Photography Prize in 2004, a distinction that underlines his ability to explore the image from a contemporary sensibility. His production, in constant evolution, is characterized by an investigation into perception, the image and its limits, positioning him as a versatile voice within the current art scene.
