This work stands out for the characteristic pictorial texture of Lita Cabellut, close to the fresco effect and marked by crackle, glazes and transparencies that give the surface an intense material-visual presence. On this pictorial skin, the artist builds a face fragmented by an extreme framing, where the gaze, partially veiled, concentrates all the emotional tension of the image.

Cabellut turns the portrait into a space of psychological revelation. The skin, the eye and the diagonal strip not only describe a face, but an identity suspended between beauty, concealment and fragility. The pink, ochre, greenish and bluish hues reinforce this ambiguity, combining visual sensuality and inner tearing.
