Xavi Mira has made painting the central focus of a process of personal reconstruction, developing a body of work deeply rooted in experience, memory, and transformation. His work stems from an intense reflection on human fragility and art’s capacity to transcend pain, viewing creation as a space for knowledge, healing, and the search for balance. His artistic practice is grounded in a creative ritual marked by silence, music, and meticulous preparation of the studio, conceived as a place of concentration and order in the face of the chaos of lived experience. Drawing on accumulated memories, emotions, and images, Mira constructs compositions of great gestural intensity in which the process takes on as much importance as the final result. On her canvases, the painterly medium becomes the vehicle for direct and honest expression, where intuition and reflection coexist in a constant balance.
