With a marked richness of materiality, *Night Garden* develops an abstract language in which texture, repetition, and contrast take center stage. Against a golden background with an irregular surface, dark, organic-looking forms—reminiscent of floral motifs—are distributed, accompanied by gestural strokes that create a continuous rhythm throughout the composition.

The hallmarks of gold and black, combined with the accumulations and reliefs of the material, lend depth to the surface and reinforce the work’s decorative character. The repetition of the motifs also introduces a visual cadence that can be linked to the artist’s interest in certain Eastern aesthetic sensibilities, developed through his travels in Korea, Japan, and Indonesia.

Javier Spinmon is a self-taught visual artist from Barcelona who focuses on abstraction and experimentation with textures and color. In 2024, he presented the solo exhibitions *PetitMon* in Barcelona and *Verge de Montserrat* in El Bruc, and also participated in Art3f Marbella and a group exhibition at Pitijopos Gallery in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
