In this work, Cristina Cañamero explores the human figure through a composition that combines realism and poetic evocation. The subject, suspended in midair and draped in a white dress with delicate sheer panels, conveys a sense of weightlessness and freedom. The meticulous anatomical rendering and the subtle hallmarks of the skin and the fabrics reveal the artist’s technical mastery, while the neutral background accentuates the expressiveness of the movement and lends the scene an almost dreamlike quality.

Cristina Cañamero holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Granada and lives and works in Córdoba. Her career has been recognized with various awards, and her work is included in collections such as those of Unicaja, the Coca-Cola Foundation, and the CAC Málaga. She has participated in art fairs such as ARCO and in numerous solo and group exhibitions, developing a personal figurative style centered on expressiveness and the representation of the human body.
