Nineteenth century silver tray, round format, elaborated with a careful technique of embossing and chiseling in high and low relief. The central decoration is dominated by an exuberant basket of flowers, with a great laceria. It is a work that stands out for a delicate naturalistic modeling characteristic of the historicist goldsmithing of the time. Among the foliage, there are acanthus leaves of notable development, a frequent ornamental resource in the neoclassical and Renaissance decorative repertoire that survived in nineteenth-century silverware.
