DESCRIPTION
Pair of cherubic angels of the 19th century.
Silver.
Total weight: 2900 gr.
Measurements: 37 x 23 x 30 cm (each one).
This pair of nineteenth century cherubic angels stands out for its delicate workmanship and graceful gestures. Dressed in baroque-influenced drapery, the figures present a dynamic and vibrant composition that directly refers to the aesthetics of the 17th century. The set is distinguished by the rich patina of its silver finish, denoting the sculptor's savoir faire. Most likely both carvings were originally part of a larger sculptural program.
