This silver tray made by Rovira in Barcelona at the end of the XIX century is a representative piece of the refinement and ornamental richness typical of the Spanish silverware of that time. Its design responds to a taste clearly influenced by the rococo style, highly appreciated in the historicist context of the time. The silhouette presents a wavy profile, with trimmed edges that provide dynamism and elegance. The side handles stand out especially, profusely decorated with vegetal motifs and scrolls, which are harmoniously integrated into the whole.
