The barrel features a hand-made guilloché engraving, inspired by 16th century ornamental clocks. Over this delicate pattern, nine layers of translucent lacquer are applied by hand. The non-enameled metal parts are coated with ruthenium, a rare metal derived from platinum, of which only about 12 tons are mined per year. The cap bears the distinctive Giorgio Armani emblem, a symbol of elegance and exclusivity. With its streamlined design and luxurious feel, this pen represents the pinnacle of writing instruments, comparable to the world's most sophisticated automobiles. Only 199 units of this limited edition were produced.
