Pelikan's Seven Wonders of the World series is a collection of limited edition fountain pens that pays homage to the seven most iconic structures of antiquity. Each pen is meticulously designed to reflect the grandeur and uniqueness of its respective wonder, using high-quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship techniques.

The pens in this series are individually numbered, making them highly coveted collector's items. Production of each model is limited, with quantities varying according to the marvel represented.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were built in the 6th century BC in the ancient city of Babylon, present-day Iraq, by order of King Nebuchadnezzar II. It is believed that they were created for his wife Amytis, a native of Media, to remind her of the mountains of her homeland. The garden consisted of stepped terraces that housed a variety of plants and trees, and required a sophisticated irrigation system to maintain its vegetation.

Pelikan has created a fountain pen in a limited edition of 410 pieces, alluding to the serial number that identifies each piece. The cap, plated in gold, artistically shows four staggered terraces. The dark green barrel, bordered by gold-plated rings, has been refined with lacquer and polished to a high shine. The hand-crafted 18-karat gold nib is decorated with a stylized, individually engraved depiction of the terraces.
