The pen was manufactured in Toledo, Ohio, and is stamped "PAT. NOV. 17 1925" on its lever, a patent belonging to Andreas Bienenstein, related to an innovative mechanism design. The body, made of vintage celluloid, can come in colors such as marbled green or black-white mother-of-pearl, typical of the Endura line launched between 1924 and the 1930s.
The loading system is internal lever, a hallmark of Conklin, popularized in their earlier "Crescent Filler" models, and adapted to the Endura, with a robust and reliable construction. In addition, later variants such as the Symetrik (ca. 1930-38) incorporated details such as metal bands and decorated levers.
