The Parker Duofold Centennial was launched as part of the commemoration of the relaunch of one of the most iconic models in the history of the Parker brand. The original Duofold, introduced in the 1920s, was a symbol of innovation, elegance and quality in the writing world. In 1990, Parker decided to reintroduce the Duofold line as part of a strategy to reclaim its classic legacy and reposition itself as a benchmark in the luxury fountain pen segment. This reissue, called "Centennial", was designed with an aesthetic that faithfully evoked the art deco design of the original Duofold, but using modern materials and advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure greater durability, improved performance and contemporary visual appeal. The body of the pen was manufactured from high quality acrylic resins, with varied finishes ranging from classic black to bolder colors such as jade or lapis lazuli, accompanied by gold or palladium-plated metal accents.
