In 1965, Parker surprised the world with an unprecedented piece: the Parker 75 Spanish Treasure Fleet, a fountain pen forged in sterling silver recovered from a real shipwreck, that of the Spanish fleet of 1715 sunk off the coast of Florida. It was the brand's first truly historic limited edition, and one of the first in the modern world.

Its barrel and cap, engraved with the classic ciselé pattern, bear inscriptions evoking its maritime origin: "Spanish Treasure Fleet - 1715". Authentic symbols of the Spanish crown appear at the ends: the seal of the Mexican mint and the imperial eagle of Philip V, details that elevate this pen from instrument to relic.
