Montblanc fountain pen special edition of its collection 'Patrons of Art', pays tribute to John Pierpont Morgan. The body of the pen is made of 925 sterling silver whose barrel is slightly fluted, inspired by the era of industrialization. The two-tone 18kt gold nib is rhodium-plated. The cap made of carbon fiber is decorated with geometric motifs, the clip is fluted and the jewel is crowned by the emblematic Montblanc star. This is a limited edition of 4810 pieces.
This edition pays tribute to John Pierpont Morgan who was one of the most important financial magnates during the Golden Age in the U.S., at the same time a great lover and patron of the arts. One of his most important legacies was the founding of the Morgan Library in New York, where one of the world's largest collections of significant works of art, literature, music and history is housed.
