Pocket watch type saboneta of three covers. 19th Century.
Silver box with three lids, richly decorated with engravings in guilloché technique and floral motifs, with central cartouche without engraving. The inside of the back lid bears engraved inscriptions with the mark "R. P. Aet Genève", the indication of 7+ rubies in the movement and the serial number 9685.3.
White porcelain enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic for the minutes, with spade hands and subsidiary seconds at six o'clock. Pearled bezel and fluted crown with suspension ring.
Hand-wound mechanical movement, with mainplate decorated with zigzag Côtes de Genève finish and openworked bridges. The escapement system and gear train show a typical manufacture of late 19th century Swiss watchmaking. It works.

Measurements: 5.4 cm (case diameter).
