The Submariner is undoubtedly the most recognized diver's watch of all time. The reference 16610 is the last Submariner model that has an aluminum bezel instead of ceramic as those currently manufactured. The firm itself states "Originally, the Submariner was created specifically for underwater exploration and diving. Over the years, it has proven to be just as effective out of the water and has become the iconic and versatile watch of explorers, athletes, filmmakers, artists and others with different walks of life."
**In the description of the watches when it is marked "in running condition" it means that the watch is in working order. Since collector's watches often have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general service, overhaul, battery change, adjustment or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers, that is to say, we do not work with stock photography and that is why the photographs are considered part of the cataloging.
