Cartier’s Trinity collection is one of the Maison’s most iconic designs and a true icon of 20th-century jewelry. It was created in 1924 by Louis Cartier, who conceived a ring consisting of three movable, interlocking bands, traditionally crafted in 18-karat yellow gold, rose gold, and white gold. Its originality lies both in the combination of the three tones and in the continuous movement of the bands, which slide over one another to create a piece of jewelry that appears simple yet is highly sophisticated both technically and visually. Cartier specifically highlights its fluidity, simplicity, and powerful symbolic dimension, associating the three circles with concepts such as unity, eternity, and connection.
In the watch descriptions, when it states “it works,” this means the watch is functioning at the time of listing. Since collector’s watches typically have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general servicing, inspection, battery replacement, adjustment, or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. Nor do we guarantee their water resistance, regardless of what is indicated by the manufacturer or the model. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers; that is, we do not use stock photography, and therefore the photographs are considered part of the catalog entry.
