DESCRIPTION

SWATCH.
“James Bond 007 – 40th Anniversary” Collection, 2002.
A set of twenty quartz watches.
A commemorative collection marking the 40th anniversary of the James Bond film series, featuring a watch dedicated to each of the twenty films from *Dr. No* (1962) to *Die Another Day* (2002).
Comes with an official Swatch 007 aluminum case, ref. SCASE01, with interior display trays.
Case measurements: 37 x 50 x 22 cm.

Created in 2002 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the premiere of *Dr. No*, this collection represents one of the most ambitious projects developed by Swatch centered on film culture. Its twenty watches chronologically trace the James Bond films released up to that point, from *Dr. No* to *Die Another Day*, assigning each title its own design inspired by its visual and narrative universe. The existence of these twenty models and their individual connection to the twenty films is also documented in complete sets that have been preserved and auctioned internationally.

Of particular interest is their joint preservation in the official SCASE01 case, specifically designed to hold all twenty models in the series. Its metal construction, featuring the 007 emblem in relief and the watches arranged in individual interior trays, transforms the set into a unified presentation with a distinct collector’s appeal. The launch of this case was already documented at the German presentation of the collection held in Frankfurt in March 2002.
