The sculpture shows the elegant and slender figure of Diana hunter shooting her bow against an antelope represented just at the moment of jumping. The elegant and elongated lines that define the sculpture are not only characteristic of the animal and the lady, but are characteristic of a style or movement, the so-called "Art Deco", developed in Europe and the United States throughout the decade of the 20s of the twentieth century. It is a style defined by formal sophistication, luxury, elegance, which is reflected in sculpture, architecture and even fashion.
