The Domaine de la Romanée-Conti winery, named after the most famous of its vineyards, owns one of the best collections of estates in Burgundy: the Romanée-Conti itself, but also in "monopole" (sole proprietorship) La Tâche, and much of Richebourg, Romanée St. Vivant, Grands Echézeaux, Echézeaux and a good part of the best white grape vineyard, Le Montrachet. Undoubtedly some of the biggest names in Burgundy. The winery is located in the prestigious commune of Vosne-Romanée, in the Côte de Nuits area. Here are their pinot noir vineyards, as well as in neighboring Flagely-Echézeaux. They produce only a handful of bottles of chardonnay from the illustrious Le Montrachet estate. The house's total average annual production is 90,000 bottles.
