Bodegas Viña Sastre was founded in 1992. Severiano Sastre was the pioneer of this great project and in the 1950s he was already making his first wines in the subway cellars of La Horra. Gradually, with the profits obtained, he bought more land and planted more vines in the surrounding area, and in 1957, together with an enterprising group of winegrowers, he participated in the foundation of the Virgen de la Asunción cooperative. His son, Rafael, continued with the artisan trade and, in 1992, decided to realize the dream he had had since he was a child: to create his own winery in the heart of Ribera del Duero. With the aim of reflecting in the wines the expression of the land and the plant, Bodegas Hermanos Sastre carried out from the beginning of the project an entirely organic farming.
The images of each lot are the real ones of the object and, therefore, are part of the cataloguing. Thus, the buyer accepts that the condition of the wines is shown in the images and/or in the cataloguing, and that the content and the fragility of the cork and the seal are not the responsibility of Setdart Subastas.
