Crusoe Treasure Pasión is a red wine from the Crusoe Treasure winery, known for a unique aging method in the world: underwater maturation. The most unique thing about this wine is that, after fermentation, the bottles are submerged at a depth of 20 meters in an underwater cellar located in the Bay of Plentzia, in Biscay. They remain there for several months or even years. This underwater aging is based on the idea that the pressure, the constant temperature, the absence of light and the movement of ocean currents create an ideal environment for the wine to evolve in a different way than in a traditional land-based cellar. The result is a wine that develops great aromatic complexity and a very smooth texture. It is characterized by notes of ripe black fruits, spices and mineral touches, with very polished tannins.
