One of the most outstanding wineries in the Toro appellation, Numanthia originated in the late 1990s, when the Eguren brothers, with a long winemaking tradition in Rioja, became interested in these lands and their old vines. The winery is located in Valdefinjas, near the town of Toro, and has 49 ha of ungrafted vineyards, of which at least 20 ha are between seventy and one hundred years old.
