The CVNE winery (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España) originated in 1879, and still maintains its original location, the Barrio de la Estación winery in Haro, in the Rioja Alta region. At CVNE, the winemaking process is still cared for with the same dedication and commitment as in the early years of the company. And care is taken from the beginning, from the time the grapes are on the vine until the wine rests in the bottle. CVNE was one of the first wineries in La Rioja to bottle, and already in 1900 it had an extraordinary ageing capacity of 80,000 bottles, something unusual at a time when it was normal to dispatch the wine as soon as possible. Today, for CVNE, bottling continues to be a process to be pampered.
