Preserves key.
Measurements: 27,5 x 35 x 25 cm.
Liquor box with square structure. It has a wooden core and a highly ornamented rosewood veneer. In Napoleon III's time, the use of Boullé type marquetry was frequent, according to the designs that the famous cabinetmaker popularized while working for King Louis XIV.
The set is completed with several transparent glass jars ornamented with gilded motifs. This type of boxes were very common at the time, thus becoming a typology of boxes in a basic and practical element that could be used both in the domestic sphere, as well as in an itinerant way.
