Dartigalongue Armagnac is one of the most representative and traditional examples of Armagnac from the Bas-Armagnac region (southwest France). It is produced in an artisanal way by a family with more than 180 years of history, preserving traditional methods of distillation and aging.
The A.O.C. Bas Armagnac (Armagnac, southwest France) is characterized by its sandy soils, which produce a very fruity, fine and complex eau-de-vie. Pascal Dartigalongue, founder of the winery that bears his name, was born in 1813 into a family dedicated to winemaking in Saint Lannes, and in 1838 he founded his own business in Armagnac, soon exporting his brandy to Belgium, Holland, England and the United States. Today, the fifth generation continues to run the winery, respecting the meticulousness of its production as in the 19th century.
