Château Cheval Blanc is an emblematic winery in Bordeaux (France), considered one of the most prestigious and respected in the world of wine. Its reputation is based on both its centuries-old history and the exceptional quality of its wines. It is located in Saint-Émilion, on the right bank of the Bordeaux region, one of the most renowned wine-growing areas in France. The domaine as it exists today was established in the mid-19th century, although it is known that vineyards were cultivated there since at least the 15th century, on land with a wine-growing tradition of more than 2,000 years. Cheval Blanc was classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé A, which is the highest distinction in the Saint-Émilion classification from its creation in 1955 until the winery itself decided to retire in 2022 to focus on its independence and reputation. It has had very few ownership changes over the past 150 years, which has given it great management stability and long-term vision.
