DESCRIPTION
Alemany i Corrió, Sot Lefriec, 2004.
DO Penedès. Catalonia, Spain.
6 bottles of 75 cl.
Rated 95/100 by The Wine Advocate (“Parker”).
Comes with the original wooden case, opened for inspection, with dividers and wrapping paper.
Condition: Levels: 6 IN (Into Neck), located in the lower section of the neck. Front labels and back labels are complete and legible, with minor stains and scuffs. Black capsules with superficial marks and light deposits, more pronounced on the second bottle from the left in the main image. The “Sot Lefriec” markings on top are still visible. Corks are hidden; their condition and position cannot be assessed. Dark deposits are visible on several necks, particularly on the second and sixth bottles in the main image. No clear external signs of leakage are visible in the provided images. The dark glass prevents an accurate assessment of the wine’s color, clarity, and sediment. The box has stains and scuffs; the wrapping paper is wrinkled, with tears and darkened areas.
It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
Sot Lefriec represents Irene Alemany and Laurent Corrió’s most personal interpretation of the Penedès. The winery defines it by the character of its old vines, the long aging process, and the pursuit of complexity and nuance. This lot includes six individually numbered bottles from the 2004 vintage, along with their original wooden case.
