Condition: Five bottles show liquid levels near the base of the neck, consistent with 3 BN (Base Neck) and 3 IN (Into Neck); Front labels have brown stains, mottling, and scuffs of varying intensity; some have small tears along the edges. Commercial back labels are stained and scuffed. The Regulatory Council labels show uneven deterioration, with significant paper loss on several bottles affecting text and serial numbers. Burgundy-colored capsules with scuffs, small marks, and surface deposits; the corks remain hidden. The color, clarity, and presence of sediment cannot be reliably determined. Box with stains, discoloration, scuffs, and exterior and interior wear.
It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Único Reserva Especial revives the Spanish tradition of producing a wine without a single vintage, blending different vintages of Único to combine their qualities. According to its labels, this blend combines wines from 1989, 1990, and 1994—an expression of the selection and blending process that defines this Vega Sicilia production.
