Comes in a wooden box from the winery marked “Único 1998.” Opened for inspection.
Condition:
Levels: visible at the neck, consistent with IN (Into Neck) on all three bottles, with slight variations in height. Front labels are complete and legible, with brown stains, mottling, and scuffing of varying intensity. Commercial and Regulatory Council back labels are legible, with stains and superficial wear. Burgundy capsules show scuffs and superficial deposits, with no significant breaks visible from the side. Dark deposits are observed in the neck area; their nature and whether they are internal or external require verification. The corks remain hidden. The color, clarity, and presence of sediment in the wine as a whole cannot be reliably assessed. The box has stains, discoloration, and abundant deposits adhering to some interior surfaces.
It comes from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Único represents Vega Sicilia’s long-aging process, linked to the Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards on its estate. Its prolonged aging in wood and bottle is one of the defining characteristics of its identity. This lot comprises three bottles from the 1998 vintage, individually numbered and presented in a wooden box marked with the same vintage.
