Condition:
Level: 2 cm below the neck. Label is damaged, with extensive stains, dark spots, scuffs, cracking, and paper loss; the producer, appellation, and vintage remain legible. There is a notable vertical tear in the upper right corner. Black capsule showing wear, scuffs, and light surface deposits, especially around the top edge. The inscription “Gaja” remains. Paper seal over the capsule and neck is deteriorated, with losses and partially legible numbering. The cork is concealed, making it impossible to assess its condition or position. The stains and residues require a physical examination to determine their nature; the photographs do not allow for confirmation of any leaks. A dark reddish hue is visible through the glass, but it is impossible to accurately assess the clarity or the presence of sediment.
It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Gaja Barbaresco 2000 is a Nebbiolo red that combines the identity of Piedmont with the refined style of one of its most renowned wineries. The 2000 vintage stood out for producing mature and generous wines, as part of a succession of excellent vintages for Barolo and Barbaresco.
