DESCRIPTION
Pingus, 1996.
Ribera del Duero D.O.
1 75 cl bottle.
Condition:
Level: visible at the neck, near the base: IN (Into Neck). Front label complete and legible, with small scattered spots and slight scuffs. Back label from the Regulatory Council with stains, scuffs, and a loss of paper in the lower central area that partially affects the printed identification. Silver capsule with wrinkles, pronounced creases, and scuffs; the upper surface shows slight deformations. No external wine stains are visible in the provided images. The cork remains hidden by the capsule, so its condition cannot be assessed nor its position confirmed.
It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.
Pingus was born from a personal project by Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck, who found in the old vineyards of the Ribera del Duero the starting point for developing a wine with its own distinct identity. Following its first vintage in 1995, this 1996 vintage belongs to the winery’s formative period and offers a glimpse into the early years of a journey focused on expressing the character of Tempranillo and the vineyard.
