Château Mouton Rothschild is one of the great names in global viticulture and one of Bordeaux’s most prestigious estates. Its elevation to the Premier Grand Cru Classé category in 1973—the only change of its kind in the historic 1855 classification—solidified its position among the great collector’s wines. The 2001 vintage is also of unique artistic interest thanks to its label designed by the renowned American set designer Robert Wilson, who created a composition dedicated to Baroness Philippine de Rothschild.
