Comes with a wooden box from the winery marked “Reserva Especial.” Opened for inspection.
Condition: liquid levels visible at the neck of all three bottles: 3 IN (Into Neck), as shown in the photographs. Front labels show extensive stains, discoloration, surface deposits, and scuffs, with variations among the bottles. The bottle on the left in the main photograph has significant paper loss on the left side, which partially affects the text and decoration. The middle bottle retains legible identifying information, with scattered stains and deposits. The bottle on the right shows marked darkening and widespread stains. The Regulatory Council’s back labels are legible, with stains and surface wear. The burgundy-colored capsules show scuffing and minor loss of finish, with no noticeable external wine runoff visible in the provided images. The corks remain hidden. The color, clarity, and presence of sediment cannot be reliably determined. The box shows stains, darkening, wear, and handwritten notes.

Único Reserva Especial continues the tradition of blending different vintages of Único into a non-vintage wine. This 2005 edition combines wines from 1985, 1991, and 1996; its labels indicate a selection of 54 barrels and a production of 15,876 bottles. The blending of different vintages is the hallmark of this Vega Sicilia wine.
