Condition:
Level: IN (Into Neck), located above the base of the shoulder. Front label complete and legible, with small scattered reddish and brownish spots, more pronounced at the edges and along the bottom. The Regulatory Council’s back label certifying origin is complete and legible, bearing the notation “2001 Vintage” and the serial number 395715. The silver capsule shows superficial scuffs, small marks, and creases or dents along the upper edge. No unmistakable external signs of leakage are visible in the photographed areas. The cork remains covered by the capsule, and its condition cannot be assessed nor its position precisely determined. The glass has surface dirt and storage marks, which are especially visible on the lower rear portion. The darkness of the glass and the lighting conditions prevent a reliable assessment of the color, clarity, and presence of sediment in the contents.
It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

The 2001 vintage belongs to the early years of Pingus, Peter Sisseck’s project linked to the old vineyards of La Horra in Ribera del Duero. With its first vintage in 1995, this wine holds a prominent place in the producer’s history and is of interest to collections focused on the great names of Spanish wine.
