L'Ermita, produced by Álvaro Palacios in Gratallops, is one of the great benchmarks of the Priorat and of contemporary Spanish winemaking. Sourced from an exceptional vineyard with steep slopes and licorella soils, it stands out for its concentration, complexity, and pronounced mineral character. The 2002 vintage, characterized by an exceptionally low yield, offers a profile of remarkable intensity, with notes of black fruit, cherry, chocolate, spices, and mineral nuances, accompanied by fine tannins and an extraordinarily persistent finish.
