DESCRIPTION
CELSO MIRANDA (Pontevedra, 1942).
"On the Beach."
Oil on panel.
Signed in the lower right corner.
Measurements: 36 x 53 cm; 48 x 66 cm (frame).
A Galician painter specializing in urban landscapes rendered with a loose brushstroke technique: Paris, London... His views are imbued with a dreamy poetry, as if painted in the moment of recollection, taking on the warm tones of a landscape veiled and sublimated by memory. The painter has internalized the Impressionist tradition, reaching a deeper level of emotional expression.
