Emiliano Borges is a Venezuelan painter, architect, and designer who has been based in Barcelona since 2000. He graduated with a degree in architecture in 1994 and has developed a career that combines the visual arts with graphic design, set design, and film art direction. His dedication to painting intensified beginning in 2007, using his sketchbooks and notes as a starting point for experimentation. His work explores the human figure, the line, and chance as part of the creative process. In projects such as *Tercios*, she uses continuous lines, overlays, and folded paper to fragment and reassemble images, inviting the viewer to participate in their composition. Her first solo exhibition, *Cuadernos*, was held in Caracas in 2009; she has since exhibited in Spain and Italy.
