BID HISTORY

DESCRIPTION

LOUIS VUITTON.
Exclusive jacket model for Japan.
Black cotton fabric with a gabardine-style finish.
Size: XXL (Japanese).

This Louis Vuitton jacket is crafted from black cotton fabric with a gabardine-style finish. It features a contemporary design with a straight cut and a slightly relaxed silhouette, inspired by utilitarian and athletic-style garments. It features a classic collar, a front zipper closure, long sleeves with buttoned cuffs, and two front pockets with flaps and metal buttons. On the chest, it features the “LV” emblem in dark-finished metal, accompanied by a metal carabiner appliqué, which reinforces its functional and industrial aesthetic.

The back features a large white screen-printed design with the interlocking “LV” initials, reinterpreted through mechanically inspired ornamental elements, from which motifs evoking chains and vertical lines extend downward. These hallmarks of the black background and graphic design lend the garment a distinctly urban and contemporary character.

Designed as an exclusive model for the Japanese market, the jacket reflects a reinterpretation of Louis Vuitton’s traditional codes through an aesthetic linked to streetwear and utilitarian-inspired fashion. The combination of metallic appliqués, graphic details, and a relaxed silhouette establishes a dialogue between the functionality of everyday clothing and the distinctive language of contemporary luxury.

Louis Vuitton is a French luxury brand founded in 1854 in Paris by Louis Vuitton, internationally renowned for its tradition of creating travel goods, leather goods, and fashion. Throughout its history, the house has successfully reinterpreted its historic emblems through innovative designs, combining craftsmanship, contemporary design, and influences from urban culture.
