Château Valandraud, founded by Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud, is one of the great names of Saint-Émilion and a historic leader in Bordeaux’s “vins de garage” movement. The 2005 vintage, exceptional for the region, stands out for its extraordinary concentration, complexity, and aging potential. Made primarily from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it offers an intense expression of ripe black fruits, plum, licorice, chocolate, spices, and delicate mineral notes, with enveloping tannins and a deep, persistent finish. Its international prestige, limited production, and the exceptional quality of this vintage make this set of three bottles a particularly attractive offering for collectors.
