Château Valandraud, founded by Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud, is one of the leading estates in Saint-Émilion and an iconic name in Bordeaux’s “vins de garage” movement. The 2005 vintage, considered exceptional in the region, stands out for its extraordinary concentration, complexity, and aging potential. Made primarily from Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it offers an intense expression of ripe black fruits, plum, licorice, chocolate, spices, and delicate mineral nuances, with enveloping tannins and a long, persistent finish. Its limited production, international prestige, and the quality of this vintage make this set of three bottles an attractive opportunity for collectors of great Bordeaux wines.
